Dr. Vanny Le

Co-Founder
Dr. Vanny Le is a founding physician at Avant Pain with over 10 years of experience in pain management and anesthesiology. She received her medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, New Jersey Medical School (UMDNJ-NJMS). Dr. Le completed her anesthesiology residency at UMDNJ-NJMS, followed by a pain management fellowship at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital, Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York. Dr. Le is board certified in both anesthesiology and pain medicine.

Since completing her training, Dr. Le has spent time in both academia and private practice. She was an Assistant Professor at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, affiliated with University Hospital in Newark. Dr. Le was actively involved in resident education and a fierce advocate and mentor for the residents and fellows. She held two titles during her tenure, including Assistant Program Director of the Anesthesiology residency and Program Director of the Pain Fellowship program, a program she was instrumental in establishing.

Every patient has a unique life outside of my office. The last thing they want to do is think about pain. It's my job to get them back to that life, enjoying the little things.
Dr. Le has a special interest in complex regional pain syndrome, neuromodulation and regenerative medicine. Her goal and philosophy is to get patients back to living their lives. She has a penchant for spending time listening to patients and developing a plan most suited for their lifestyle and achieving the best outcome.

Dr. Anthony Sifonios

Dr. Anthony Sifonios is a founding physician at Avant Pain with over 10 years of experience in pain management and anesthesiology. He received his undergraduate degree at the prestigious Columbia University in New York, followed by a medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in 2005. Dr. Sifonios completed his anesthesiology residency at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in 2009. He subsequently completed a fellowship in pain medicine at NYU. He maintains board certifications in both anesthesiology and pain medicine.

Since completing his training, Dr. Sifonios has spent time in both academia and private practice. He was an Assistant Professor at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School teaching future residents and fellows in anesthesiology and pain medicine. After leaving Rutgers, Dr. Sifonios co-founded and co-directed the pain medicine division for one of the largest multi-specialty groups in the country.
